Study Environment
Our learning environment revolves around you - the student. The key features of U21Global’s learning approach includes:
Expertly-written online courseware - our online courseware materials are written by experts in their fields and enhanced through an instructional design process. As a consequence, the online courseware is interactive, engaging and media-rich.
24 hour access - students can access all the courseware materials 24 hours a day and study at a time that suits them.
Authentic cases and problems - students gain experience of solving the same kinds of problems that they would solve in the real-world. Real-world business cases are integrated into the online course materials.
Learning community - our students do not learn in isolation, but are made to feel part of a broader learning community that includes students from across the globe.
Collaborative problem-solving - students work with other students are part of a virtual team to solve problems using the collaboration tools provided. This develops collaborative skills.
Peer learning - students are encouraged to share their work experiences and views with other students in the class via the online discussion boards. In this way, students gain from broader international and multi-cultural perspectives.
Faculty facilitation - students are supported by a dedicated and qualified faculty. Each class is facilitated by a professor who will guide students through the learning process.
Assessment
Students are assessed largely on their ability to solve the kinds of problems that they are likely to face in the real-world. We are interested in the application of knowledge, and students are assessed in several different ways:
Contribution to online discussion - students discuss concepts and problems on the online discussion boards.
Team assignments - students complete problems and cases where they are required to work as part of a virtual team
Final project - this involves completion of a significant case or problem towards the end of the subject
